The Acts of the Apostles | All Ages – Sanctuary
Acts is the sequel to Luke’s Gospel, his first book to Theophilus, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. In Luke’s second book, The Acts of the Apostles, we see Jesus’ work continue and grow through the coming and indwelling of the Holy Spirit, the birth of the Church, and the spread of the Gospel from Jerusalem, to Judea and Samaris, and to the end of the earth.
Acts is primarily a divinely inspired history and defense of Christianity and the story of the Gospel’s spread throughout the world. Let we will address matters of practical value to our daily lives.
Here are some:
- What are some principles for sharing the Gospel and making disciples?
- How should the local church today look like the 1st-century church? How should it not?
- What does it look like to receive persecution in a God-honoring way?
- In the book of Acts, how do we see God as faithful to His promises? How does this motivate us?
